Topic Web for Autumn 1:
Why should the rainforests be important to us all?
This is an overview of our learning across the curriculum for the first half term of the Autumn term. We have really enjoyed linking our learning about rainforests to other subjects, particularly to the story of the Explorer that we have been using in Literacy and Guided Reading sessions.
Topic Web for Autumn 2:
What is so special about the USA?
This is an overview of our learning across the curriculum for the second half term of the Autumn term. We have linked our topic to different subjects including Computing and Art. We have enjoyed researching different states within the USA and finding out about what makes each of them unique. Make sure that you check out pictures of the sculptures we have made of famous US landmarks in the ‘Our Learning’ section.
We have had a really busy start to Year 5. Click the link below to take a look at what we have been up to and to follow our learning journey for 2019-20.
