Spring 1
A warm welcome back to everyone after the festive break, we hope you all feel refreshed and ready to settle back into Nursery life. We are so looking forward to seeing you all. Thanks to everyone for sending their ‘favourite toy’ photographs over. I can’t wait to see their little faces when they see themselves up on the big screen. I’m hoping for lots of excitement and lovely language when discussing their favourite toys.
This half term we have changed our planned topic to include more of a focus on stories and traditional tales as we have seen huge interest in the children using puppets and props in the book area. We would like to go with these interests and have re-planned with a new theme STORY LAND! There is a buzz and excitement about the characters in the books and we are looking forward to developing these interests further.

Little Red Riding Hood
We began this week by making ‘Get Well Soon’ cards for my Granny who’s at home poorly. We then made her some perfume by cutting petals and adding them to water. We also found some Gingerbread Man biscuits from last week and decided to go on a walk and take the treats to try and cheer up my Granny. I forgot my coat but luckily Mrs Hawkes had a red hooded top for me to wear.
